My face paintings usually come from a place of emerging discovery more than a planned perspective. They sometimes reveal special little stories in my mind and I like to include them on the back of the work or hidden somewhere inside the painting. They rarely depict an exact likeness but explore more of a bizarre and character filled explosion on paper or canvas.
